NDDOT Starting Salary: $1,966 per month

Four hours per day, Monday through Friday, morning or afternoon.

Summary of Work
Assign and Dispatch Fleet Service Vehicles and Maintain Appropriate Records.

This will include coordinating vehicle usage, making reservations and dispatching vehicles, maintaining daily fleet service pool records and vehicle schedules, and processing inquiries and user complaints.

Fleet Services Vehicle Service and Maintenance.

This includes ensuring vehicles are in good running order, coordinating vehicle preventative maintenance with district shop and keeping records, fueling vehicles and performing maintenance checks, determining when repairs are required, and ensuring repairs are done and vehicles are satisfactory for use.

Review and Maintain Agency Cost Records.

This includes inputting records into equipment management system and ensuring accuracy, reviewing agency reports for accuracy and completeness according to fleet service policies and guidelines, and contacting agency to correct inaccuracies or resolve questions.

Review and Maintain Fleet Service Computerized Weekly Fuel Report.

this includes Inputting fuel tickets for fleet service report, determining whether submitted fuel reports are accurate, and resolving problems and discrepancies with district representatives.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and
Three years of a work experience that provided knowledge of general vehicle maintenance and report/record keeping.
Valid North Dakota Class D Driver’s License.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, reference and background checks.
